On April 25th, the International Cooperation and Exchange Conference between Jinzhou Medical University and Malta College of Arts, Sciences and Technology (MCAST) was held. Prof. Stephen VELLA, Vice-president of MCAST, Ms. Maxine MICALLEF International Business Development Manager of MCAST, Prof. Zhu Xiaomei, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Center of JZMU, Prof. Yu Li, Dean of School of Basic Medicine of JZMU, Prof. Ma Zhuang, Dean of School of Sports and Rehabilitation, Prof. Yu Hongyu, Dean of School of Nursing, and Prof. Guo Xuesong, Deputy Dean of School of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine attended the conference. The conference was presided over by Dr. Jiang Ting, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Center.
MCAST is one of Malta’s renowned comprehensive technical colleges, the largest higher education institution in science and engineering, and the second largest public university of Malta, offering a wide range of educational courses from junior certificates to master’s degrees.
At the conference, both sides exchanged views on cooperation program in sports science, nursing, and animal management. Afterwards, accompanied by Zhu Xiaomei and Jiang Ting, Stephen VELLA and Maxine MICALLEF visited School of Nursing, School of Sports and Rehabilitation, and School of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine.
Stephen VELLA stated that “Jinzhou is a charming city, and JZMU is a rigorous and profound university”. He hopes that both sides could promote understanding through mutual visits, and achieve the common goal in international collaboration in academic and research field.
